You can now create Connections at the organization level. No more rebuilding a connection to the same data source for every project — set it up once, and use it straight from any other project. Each Connection lets you specify which spaces and projects can access it, so you can open some up to your entire organization while keeping others limited to specific teams.
SQL and HTTP requests are saved as Queries on the Connection. Any project that shares the Connection can call the same Query from anywhere. Your team can share aggregation and extraction logic, and run analysis against the same definitions across projects.
Along with this, newly created Squadbase DBs now keep their connection details (connection string) internal rather than issuing them externally, with Squadbase managing them securely on your behalf. The connection string no longer appears in either the admin console or the API. Note that this applies only to newly created Squadbase DBs—existing projects’ Squadbase DBs remain unchanged and can be used as before.
